Horses and their Humans

I am preparing to do a long term photo-journal of the horse industry in New Jersey. My goal is to document the humans who keep it going and the horses that keep the humans entertained & employed. In a small industrialized state like New Jersey, horses live like we do, in tight congested living situations with scheduled exercise and events. Because of my own involvement with horses, I have been building a library of digital photos for a couple years but it seems to be taking a thematic shape. Stylistically, I'm still interested in movement; decisive moment photography using available light.

Here are a few images which show the direction I plan to go.
